Security/Terms & Conditions of Event
We want you and all your friends to have a memorable weekend at the Mid Cheshire charity scooter rally & beer festival BUT for all the right reasons. We want to return to our new venue in 2025, buying tickets either online or on the day means that you are agreeing to the following;
Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol in public areas is forbidden.
Taking alcohol into the show ground is strictly prohibited as it violates the licensing agreement. The security personnel will have the authority to search all guests and their bags as they enter the show ground.
Joy Riding
Riding scooters around the site is not permitted. Guests will not be allowed to drive in the caravan and camping areas on scooters unless leaving the site to join the main road. The only exception to this rule is when guests are transporting their scooters from the camping sites to the showground on Saturday morning between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. for the Classic and Custom show and the return journey after the trophy presentation between 3.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.
For your own safety, we recommend that HELMETS BE WORN, during these two short journeys. If not, your insurance may be invalidated should you fall off your scooter.
Scooter clubs
Please ensure all your members comply with the guidelines and not bring your clubs image and reputation into disrepute.
Barbecues
Barbecues are allowed, but must be the type that do not come in contact with the grass, naked flames near tents are not allowed and campfires are forbidden. These rules will be strictly enforced by security personnel on the camping field and they are authorised to extinguish barbecues or naked flames if these rules are ignored.
Fire extinguishers
Fire extinguishers have been deliberately activated on two separate occasions in the years gone by. These irresponsible acts offer no consideration for the safety of others and in future such acts will be considered as criminal damage and referred to the Police and BE WARNED! they will be called immediately to the site. The cost of recharging fire extinguishers will be the responsibility of those involved and court action will be taken if required, to recoup the costs.
Parking
- Security patrols will be active throughout the weekend including overnight, these are for the safety of all our guests and to avoid any anti-social behavior.
- We would like to make the U Lock It stadium our new home for the future, please behave respectfully and encourage others around you to do the same.
- Failure to comply with the anti-social guide lines may result in persons being escorted from the event site, the Police WILL be called if necessary, You have been warned!
Drugs
A zero-tolerance policy will be in effect and strictly enforced. Any incidents of drug abuse, no matter how small, will be reported to, and handled by the Police NO EXCEPTIONS. N.B. Drug sniffer dogs will be on patrol.
Surfaces
The surfaces underfoot at the event are many and varied, please take care, especially if the area is wet, DO NOT take drinks on to the dance floor. Damp or wet grass can be hazardous too. The organisers cannot, and will not, be held responsible for injuries resulting from a slip, trip or fall.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed at the Mid Cheshire charity scooter rally but NOT inside the marquee or main building, assistance dogs being the only exception. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times and clean up after them whilst visiting the Mid Cheshire charity scooter rally.
N.B. Do not, under any circumstances, allow your dog to approach any of the security dogs, they are not dog friendly and are trained that way!
The future of the Mid Cheshire Charity Scooter Rally is reliant on all guests complying with the above rules.
